Jubilee Park via Wharton circular – approx. 2.5 miles, 1 hour, easy. No need to book
After enjoying the activities at Jubilee Park, join us on a short circular walk via Wharton Hall leaving from the Jubilee Park car park.
We start our walk on a new permissive path along the boundary of Pennine View campsite dropping down to the River Eden which cascades over Brockram boulders and under Stenkrith Bridge. Into Stenkrith Park, we cross Millennium Bridge with fantastic views of Stenkrith Falls. A short distance on the disused railway with four Poetry Path stones and on route to Nateby along the medieval Hartley Lane. We enter Nateby Deer Park and continue crossing the river over to Wharton. The concrete road takes us back to Jubilee Park passing a few points of interest.
