There will be family activities and nature workshops from 11.30am to 1.30pm in Kirkby Stephen’s Jubilee Park, followed at 1.30pm by a guided tour of the park, featuring glorious views, historical background, wildlife in the park and an outline of plans for the future.
Meet for the guided tour at the lower gate at the north end of the park, accessible from the main car park. Transport will be available from Kirkby Stephen Market Square.
The event will be followed by a short circular walk from the Park to Wharton Hall, led by Walkers are Welcome.
