This summer a community art project will see Kirkby Stephen decked out in colourful flags and bunting carrying messages of hope and happiness.
This year Kirkby Stephen Community Arts has worked with local artist/illustrator Ursula Hurst to help the people of Upper Eden make flags containing their hopes and dreams for their community.
Ursula has worked with schools, community groups and day care centres - join her at Kirkby Club on Saturday 27 July to make your very own flag to add to the installation. No need to book - just come along!
